Biography
Lazarus is Elric Lightborn’s stepbrother and the campaign’s primary antagonist. He shares Progenitor blood but was cast aside by the family, leaving him with bottomless resentment. He has dedicated himself to the eradication of all Progenitors.
In Session 3, he orchestrated the destruction of Goldenfields and kidnapped Asmalon. He mocked Elric via a Clockwork Spy hologram.
Sessions 5-6 revealed his tragic backstory: He was raised in hardship, rejected by the world, and his own mentor Salarian tried to kill him multiple times. He is confirmed to be a Mirror Mage with powerful chronomancy abilities.
Appearance & Personality
Lazarus bears the haunting, fractured elegance of a prince left to rot. He shares sharp, aristocratic Progenitor features but is marred by spiritual scarring. He dresses in tattered nobility woven with chronomantic sigils that blur the air. His eyes are mirrored pools that reflect the viewer’s demise. He manifests a “Time Knife” — a shimmer of distorted reality.
Lazarus is defined by bottomless resentment calcified into ambition: eradicate the Progenitors. He speaks with venomous articulation, viewing relatives as cosmic errors. He has survived betrayals by his own mentors. He doesn’t rage; he dismantles.
