Biography
Tom is a Slayer and the youngest member of Jonas Crane’s adventurer trio. Raised in the guild and orphanage, he has a chip on his shoulder and a deep-seated distrust of authority, but remains fiercely loyal to his squad.
Appearance & Personality
Tom is a study in deceptive youth, a Slayer who looks like he should still be stealing apples rather than hunting monsters. He is the youngest of the group, with a scruffy, orphan-grade unkemptness that belies his lethal skill. He moves with a slouching, casual agility, often seen cleaning a blade or toying with a weapon with a familiarity that unnerves civilians. His face is expressive, usually twisted into a smirk or a look of exaggerated boredom, but his eyes are observant, cataloging weaknesses and threats with a hunter’s instinct. He lacks the polished armor of a knight, preferring functional gear that allows him to move fast and hit hard, often blending into the background until the violence starts.
Snarky, observant, and possessing a mouth that gets him into as much trouble as his blades get him out of, Tom is the classic irreverent underdog. Raised in the guild and the orphanage, he has a chip on his shoulder the size of a shield and a deep-seated distrust of authority. He masks his insecurities and his harsh upbringing with a layer of sarcasm and bravado, often making light of dangerous situations. However, beneath the quips lies a competent and deadly combatant who is fiercely loyal to Jonas and Ruby, the only family he really has. He is the first to complain but the last to run, a survivor who fights with the desperate tenacity of a kid who knows that no one else is coming to save him.

Session 1: Wayward Son
Tom participated in the goblin patrol. When the ambush hit, he stood his ground alongside Elric Lightborn while Jonas evacuated Ruby.
Session 2: Feigned Choices
Tom was knocked unconscious during the continuation of the goblin fight. Elric healed him at the church.
