Biography

Malasira Neshbarath, known as “Malice,” is the powerful Countess of House Neshbarath, a Drow noble house operating from Skullport beneath Waterdeep. When Elric inadvertently revealed his identity as the “Heir of Varrakis,” Malice immediately ordered his capture.

She had him subdued with a sonic weapon and fitted with a power-dampening collar. Elric was caged in her personal chambers.

In Session 6, she traded Elric to the Vampire King but extracted a blood oath from him — a binding that remains in effect. She still holds Chris Evergreen captive, guarded by her daughters.

Appearance & Personality

Malasira cuts a terrifyingly regal figure, her obsidian skin polished to a sheen. She drapes herself in gowns of spider-silk velvet, dyed the color of dried blood. Her features are severe and arrestingly beautiful, framed by white hair in an intricate weave adorned with gemstone spiders. Her eyes are pools of pale violet, analyzing with predatory focus.

As the head of House Neshbarath, Malice embodies icy, calculated cruelty tempered by rigid hierarchy. She prefers to break a spirit before she breaks a bone. She views Elric not just as an enemy, but as a chaotic variable to be controlled.

Allegiances & Relationships

Campaign Chronicle

Session 5: Into the Depths

Malice captured Elric when he revealed himself as “Heir of Varrakis.” She had him subdued, collared, and caged in her personal chambers. Also captured Chris Evergreen.

Session 6: Father’s Legacy

Traded Elric to the Vampire King, but extracted a blood oath that remains binding. She still holds Chris Evergreen, with her daughters now guarding the captive.

Session 9: Little Friends

When Elric traveled to Skullport seeking Kate and Lyra, Malice presented the two brainwashed girls as “gifts” — dressed in revealing Drow slave attire and saying “We are yours, master.” This is a political/emotional trap, testing Elric’s character.
