Biography
Bean began as a pixie emissary of Titania, the Summer Queen. After being captured by the Shadow Hand and rescued by Elric, she grew larger and more powerful. However, during Session 10, Solarin captured her and used her essence to birth a Primal Fire Elemental.
When Elric sealed the elemental’s magic, the combined death of Bean and the primal fire energy caused her to be reborn as a Sheed—a powerful Wild Court fey with phoenix wings, standing 2.5 feet tall with a natural Charisma of 29. She became the Spirit of Waterdeep.
Upon returning to the city later, Bean split into a duality: a fire aspect (Spirit of Waterdeep) and an ice aspect (Spirit of Skullport). The two halves immediately began fighting for claim over Elric.
Appearance & Personality
In her Sheed form, Bean is approximately 2.5 feet tall—almost halfling size—with the voluptuous beauty of an unearthly elf. Her charisma is a natural 29 with alluring presence. Her wings are a pair of phoenix wings (fire aspect) or frosty crystalline wings (ice aspect), with smaller hummingbird-like wings beneath. When retracted, they appear as intricate back tattoos.
She can summon wind and fire (or ice), forge clothing from leaves and debris, and communicate telepathically. The fire aspect has red hair and fiery wings; the ice aspect has silvery-blue hair and frost wings.

Session 4: New Beginnings
Bean was sent by Titania to guide Elric to the City Garden. She became his fairy companion.
Session 9: Little Friends
Bean was captured by the Shadow Hand and taken to the Slaughterhouse, where a Soulbound Shell was draining her magical energy. Elric tracked her down, destroyed the construct, and rescued her. After being healed, Bean grew larger and more powerful.
Session 10: The Gathering
Solarin captured Bean and used her essence to spawn a Primal Fire Elemental. When Elric sealed the elemental, Bean died but was reborn as a Sheed—a Wild Court fey with phoenix wings, 2.5 feet tall, natural Charisma 29. She became the Spirit of Waterdeep. The Seven Wands recognized her as “one of the Wild Court,” heralding the potential Wild Hunt.
Later, Bean split into two beings: a fire aspect (Spirit of Waterdeep) and an ice aspect (Spirit of Skullport). Both claimed Elric and began fighting.
