Narrative Summary

Elric awakens in the Progenitor Ruins and activates a hidden entrance by declaring his full lineage as the son of Varrakis Baratheon. He enters a massive control center overlooking a facility submerged beneath a magma chamber. He interfaces with Ion, the sentient Mythal controlling the facility, who reveals this is “Project Limbo,” a maximum-security prison for heretics and dangerous entities. The facility is in critical condition due to a containment breach and temporal lockdown.

Elric contacts Ikarin via prayer, who arrives to stabilize the facility. Ikarin tasks Elric with investigating a specific breach while he manages the chrono-collapsing of other sectors. Elric encounters Emotivores and Aeon Guard soldiers fighting. He attempts to intervene when the Aeon Guard steals a shard of Ion’s core, but he is overpowered by their superior technology and mythic abilities. The intruders escape into a temporal rift.

Simultaneously, a prisoner named Epion (the failed Shadow Monarch) escapes. Elric attempts to seal him but fails due to the power disparity. Ikarin intervenes, defeats Epion, and re-imprisons him. To retrieve the stolen shard, Ikarin trains Elric for three days in advanced Progenitor martial arts (gaining Improved Combat Martial Arts and Improved Martial Defense) and equips him with Aeon Guard technology. Elric is then prepared to jump to the year 2030 to intercept the thieves.
