Biography
Patrick Allen Pricefield was an arrogant young noble and wizard who bullied Chris Evergreen and challenged Elric Lightborn to a duel to the death. Unbeknownst to most, he was corrupted by a demon stone containing an Elder Cambion’s essence.
During the duel, Patrick cheated by summoning a Terracotta Warrior and using the demon stone to boost his power. Elric defeated him decisively, destroying the demon stone and freeing Patrick from its abyssal influence. Elric then revived him, giving him a chance at redemption.
Appearance & Personality
Patrick projects the quintessential image of a privileged prodigy, draped in fine robes that blur the line between academy uniform and noble finery. Before his redemption, his posture was stiff with unearned arrogance, his eyes clouded by the subtle, dark influence of the demon stone he secretly harbored. The abyssal corruption manifested as a faint, sickly pallor and a manic intensity in his gaze, making him seem larger and more threatening than his physical stature suggested. Now, cleansed of the stone’s influence, he looks somewhat diminished—a young man suddenly waking from a fever dream, the weight of his actions settling visibly upon his slumped shoulders.
Initially, Patrick was the archetype of the insecure bully, using his status and magical talent as a cudgel to hide his own inadequacies. His brashness was amplified by the demon stone, twisting his ambition into cruelty and his rivalry into murderous intent. He thrived on fear and dominance, surrounding himself with sycophants to validate his inflated self-worth. However, the destruction of the stone has shattered that fragile ego, leaving behind a confused and humbled young noble. He is a boy who was led astray by power he couldn’t control, now standing at a crossroads between his entitled past and the possibility of a repentant future.
