Biography

Soraka was a Serpent Progenitor Guard stationed in the Progenitor Ruins accessed through The Nexus. When Elric entered, the sight of a Serpent Progenitor triggered an instinctive “Ancestral Enemy” rage.

The two engaged in a brutal mythic-level battle with both combatants displaying incredible regeneration. Despite severe damage and a dying curse, Elric killed Soraka and looted her mythic equipment.

Appearance & Personality

Soraka was a nightmare of ancient biology, a Serpent Progenitor Guard whose form was a grotesque masterpiece of evolution designed for war. Standing as a towering fusion of humanoid and reptile, her body was encased in mythic-tier armor that seemed less like equipment and more like a second, impenetrable skin of scales and strange alloys. Her regeneration was visceral and terrifying to behold—wounds knitting together in seconds, flesh reforming with a wet, unnatural sound. In battle, she was a whirlwind of poison and violence, wielding a trident that hums with a toxicity capable of rotting immortality itself.

As an ancestral enemy, Soraka was defined by a hatred that was genetic, instinctual, and absolute. She possessed no diplomacy, only the cold, reptilian drive to exterminate the “usurpers” of her master’s legacy. Her mind was alien, focused entirely on the preservation of the ruins and the destruction of intruders like Elric. Even in death, her malice lingered, delivering a “Curse of Mortality” with her dying breath.

DM Notes

  • “Ancestral Enemy” — genetic hatred between Serpent and Elric’s Progenitor types
  • Curse of Mortality — how long does it last?
  • Was she guarding something specific in the ruins?
